"WSMR KIDS"
Welcome to The WSMR Kids Reunion
Group.
What is a WSMR Kid???
This site is dedicated to
all of the kids that lived at White Sands Missile Range/White Sands Proving Grounds, NM (WSMR/WSPG).
It's purpose is to support and provide information regarding the WSMR Kids , it's future, to be announced, Reunions as well as the past Reunions which last occurred on Aug. 6-8/2010. It is also to provide resources so that we WSMR Kids can keep in touch. It does not matter whether you went to school on base or not, or when or where you graduated.
You may not know Bill Adler but if he contacts you - don't worry he is not a bill collector, he just wants to get you on board with your WSMR friends. The list is the primary means for communicating to all WSMR Kids about reunions and such. 22 years in the making, it is heading for 4,000 names. Just go to the list page and submit the form. If you do not have your password - simply re-submit the form. That way you get the password and we get any update(s). This page is free unless you wish to donate via PAYPAL. The listing is secured with multiple password protection.
Please, if you are a WSMR Kid, If you have not recently done so, please
go to the "Get Listed" page and submit
your contact information or updated information and you will receive
access to a list of over 3,581 WSMR Kids to help you find your past
friends, neighbors and school mates.
Hello to all you WSMR & WSPG
Brats,
Can you say WSMR Kids reunion in 2015?
Well WSMR Kids - another dream is coming true. We have finally found a volunteer as Chairperson for a sixth ALL WSMR Kids reunion. I want to introduce Angela Rasmuson Dizazzo who resides in Houston Texas. She lived at WSMR in the 1987/1988 timeframe. Married to Pat Dizazzo and has two children. As a graduate of Silver City New Mexico High School in 1999, she is just what we have been looking for - younger blood to possibly bring younger ideas to the committee.
Working with Angela, we have Wendy Boetticher who has come forward to act as Treasurer and Dawn Young has volunteered to do advertising. Additionally, we have the faithful support of our webmaster, Jim Fulp. Remaining committee to be announced. Please welcome these WSMR Kids and wish them a successful reunion in 2015.
I had a meeting with Angela yesterday to discuss the wish list of what could be our sixth WSMR Kids reunion in 2015. She or her delegate may be contacting you for help with this committee.
Note: We are definitely still on the hunt for anyone who would like to be part of the planning committee. If you have questions or may be interested, contact Bill Adler at [email protected]
As
your webmaster, I designed and posted this site
and incorporated Bill Adler's list in 1991 along with a method to help the list grow. It has also been used to support the 5 previous WSMR Kids Reunions. It has been a pleasure keeping it up since then (10yr resident of WSMR/class of 70).
My experiences at WSMR was such that I am committed to support
and provide resources for the WSMR Kids that appreciate the unique
experience that we all share by living on the base. Believe
it or not, our presence at WSMR now has a prominent place
in history!
The direction this site goes in the future is yet to be determined and will be influenced by you and what you would like to see available here. I invite your feedback at: [email protected]
The time, effort and resources I have contributed
has been my pleasure!
I do not require your assistance in continuing this effort,
however if you feel that you have been blessed by this website
and would like to contribute and share some of the ongoing expenses required (hosting, server and domain registration fees)
to help keep this site alive and growing along with me, feel free
to donate at the following PayPal link. I assure
you it is appreciated and I also assure you this is quite the
"non-profit" type of program! To contribute your support click
on the following link:
A Thank You
goes out to the couple of you WSMR Kids that have contributed
to the effort in the past. I am sure that all the WSMR Kids join me in thanking you for your
support.
The List: There are currently 3,581 names on the list! Latest revision 4/29/13

WSMR Kids List & Reunion Founder
We want to express our appreciation to Bill Adler, ([email protected]) founder of the WSMRKids Reunion efforts. Bill, from 1991 has spearheaded the effort of compiling and updating "The List" and was also involved with the planning of the past reunions. Without his much appreciated efforts, the success of reunions of the past would not have been possible.
After the many years that Bill has been diligently keeping, managing and revising "The List", he is passing the torch of keeping the list to your webmaster, Jim Fulp, ([email protected]) who is also committed to keeping the list posted as current and secure as possible.
We need your help from all of you in keeping this list updated and complete as possible also in helping in finding people that have never been found, re-lost people and new people.
Contact your WSPG/WSMR friends and make sure they go to the site and update us with their information via the "Get Listed" form. Check out the list and help us understand which people are siblings or to add siblings.
Each of you periodically needs to go to the web page - "The List" page and resubmit your information. That is how we are able to keep addresses, phone no., and emails current. Who knows, maybe one of your old WSMR best friends wants to contact you! Find Bill on facebook “Bill Adler WSMR” and become a friend to help stay informed. Don’t forget the poll listed on this page.

WE
HAVE AN IMPORTANT REQUEST FROM THE WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE
MUSEUM!
Dear WSMR Kids,
I am in the process of collecting artifacts, photographs,
blueprints, stories to create an exhibit, here at the White
Sands Missile Range Museum, to tell the story of the children
and youth programs/activities of WSMR for the past 65 years.
I understand that you will be having your Reunion in August
and I would like to invite you to bring with you anything
that you might want to share or to be considered for use
in this exhibit.
I specifically am looking for old photos of the buildings
that once housed the various youth activities and photos
or programs, invitations for any special events.
The White Sands Missile Range Historical Foundation
is accepting donations for personalized bricks to be installed
in the Missile Park. Brick sizes range from 4' X 8' to 24"
X 24" and the price ranges from $65.00 to $840.00. (If you
want your own - click
